Official PayPal Seal

PayPal will allow you to designate a specific fund for your donation. See fund descriptions below.
Note: While we offer this PayPal service for your convenience, please be aware that PayPal accesses charges on all transactions, and those charges add up to hundreds of dollars per year. Writing a check may be a bit more time-consuming and involve an envelope and a stamp, but it will ensure that your ENTIRE donation comes to Stockton Folk Dance Camp.

Monetary Donations

Stockton Folk Dance Camp accepts monetary donations to three primary funds: the Library fund, the Jack McKay Endowment, and several Scholarship funds. Camp also accepts direct donation to each year's operational expenses.

Library Fund

The Library fund supports the conversion of the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials to usable digital formats and aids in the purchase of modern storage equipment.

If you prefer to write a check, donations of this type should be made payable to "Folk Dance Camp" memo line, Library, and sent to: Jeff O'Connor, 225 California Avenue, Arcata, California 95521.

Folk Dance Materials For  UOP Library

If you have materials related to folk dancing, Stockton Folk Dance Camp oversees the donation of such material to the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials in the UOP Library. For further information contact Bruce Mitchell at (530) 888-6586 or dancebruce@aol.com.

Jack McKay Endowment

The Jack McKay Endowment was established during the 60th year of Folk Dance Camp by Dr. Steven Turner. The amount has gradually grown to over $300,000. A donation to this fund helps guarantee the financial stability of Folk Dance Camp. Your support will help with the continuation of live music and with the high quality of instructors brought to Stockton every year, and defray the costs of the specialty banquets. Any gift, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.

If you prefer to write a check, donations of this type should be made payable to "Folk Dance Camp" memo line, Jack McKay, and sent to: Jeff O'Connor, 225 California Avenue, Arcata, California 95521.

Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship fund provides help to dancers who otherwise could not afford to come to Camp.  Scholarship recipients are expected to perform a job at Camp.  A donation to this fund helps send a deserving dancer to Camp and helps provide the extra man/womanpower that helps Camp run smoothly.

In addition to the general Camp Scholarship Fund, there are specific scholarships in honor of Bruce Mitchell and Bora Gajicki. When making a donation, simply indicate if you would like the funds to go into a particular account.

If you prefer to write a check, donations of this type should be made payable to "Folk Dance Camp" memo line, ____________ Scholarship, and sent to: Jeff O'Connor, 225 California Avenue, Arcata, California 95521.
