Stockton 2010 Photos

  • Thank you to the following (in alphabetical order) for their contributions to these pages: Barbara Bevan, Wen-Li Chiang, Maria Helena Dias, Carol Feige, Mike Giusto, Hedy Herrick, Eileen Kopec, Chi Gen Lee, Amy Lindsey, Ken McGreevy, Dick Rawson, Karen Sandler. [I hope I didn't forget anyone!]
  • The photos from similar events are grouped together by topic, and not separated by week. For example, all of the Hat Kolo photos (1st and 2nd week) are together.
  • Some of the photos were taken with a cell phone or other low-resolution source, so the clarity is not as good as I'd like, but the photos themselves were appealing.
  • I received hundreds of photographs from a variety of sources -- entire CDs as well as emails with 3-4 photos attached. Not all of the photos are included here. I had to make some tough decisions. I hope you enjoy these selections and they bring to mind good memories of Stockton Folk Dance Camp.     Loui
The Campers - young and old - gathered from near and far (Brazil!) to dance, dress up, hang out, cool down, and doze off!
We always have a great group of musicians.
The Auction raised lots of money (was it all that wine beforehand?
The staff is unique each year.

Does the Candelighting Ceremony still bring tears to your eyes?

The Hat Kolo always produces smiles.
We had " Mariachi Madness" after the Auction
And of course during the first week there was The Wedding, the reception and the banquet!
The second week enjoyed the Orient Express Banquet, complete with passport pandemonium, and a talent show.

Sigh... that was lovely. Take me HOME
