Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose are the other nearest large airports.

BY RAIL

Stockton can also be reached by rail. Check out cities and schedules on the web at www.amtrak.com, or call 1-800-872-7245. We can pick you up at the local Amtrak Station.

SHUTTLE/RENTAL CAR: If you fly into Sacramento, you may rent a car at the airport or take the “Super Shuttle.” Follow the signs to ground transportation. The shuttle will deliver you to the campus. Cost is $63.00 for the 1^st person, $8.00 for each additional person, $96.00 for an “exclusive shuttle” (maximum 7 persons). Costs are subject to change. If you are renting a car and you are planning on turning it in when you get into Stockton, we will pick you up at the drop off spot. Just let us know where.

AUTOMOBILE: From Sacramento take Interstate 5 South (just outside Sacramento Airport). Go toward Sacramento, Stockton and Los Angeles. When you get to Stockton, exit on Alpine Ave. Turn left and go east to the campus entrance on Larry Heller Drive.

GREYHOUND BUS: You will need to take a taxi from the Sacramento Airport to the downtown Greyhound terminal, 715 L Street. Fares & schedule information available at 1-800-231-2222.

If you let us know in advance your arrival time, we will pick you up at Stockton Bus Terminal. You may also call us when you arrive, 946-2295. The following times may be subject change:

AUTOMOBILE: From San Francisco Airport to Stockton, take Highway 101, south to the San Mateo Bridge (State Highway 92). Go East on 92 to Interstate 880, go North on 880. Continue on until you meet Interstate 238, East. Take Interstate 238 (it will become Interstate 580). Continue on Interstate 580 toward Stockton. (Interstate 580 will split, with 205 continuing East and I-580 going South.) Continue on Interstate 205 which will eventually merge with Interstate 5, North. Once into Stockton area, exit on Pershing or Country Club/Alpine. Proceed to Alpine and Pershing intersection and enter the campus on Larry Heller Drive.

SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT TO SF GREYHOUND BUS TERMINAL: You need to get from the Airport to the downtown Greyhound bus terminal. Limited shuttle service is available on Sunday. Again, check with Super Shuttle (1-800-258-3826), or call San Francisco Airport Transportation Hot Line, 1-800-SFO-2088. On the web you can check www.flysfo.com.
